Now that the 2009 season is over and done with it’s time to focus on next season.
Every year a new crop of rookies come into the league with the dreams of becoming the next “big thing.” It’s only after their first year when they realize that the transition to becoming a great NFL player is a long process.
Now we’ve all heard of the term “sophomore slump”, but that’s not what this list is all about. This list you are about to read is of 2009 draftees that I believe will make the leap from unproven rookie to future superstar.
The positions I will be addressing in this slideshow are:
QB, RB, TE, WR, DL, LB, S, CB
Also, another thing that needs to be addressed concerning this article. Rookies that made a big impact for their team such as Percy Harvin, Brian Cushing, Brian Orakpo, Julius Byrd, and Clay Matthews, won’t be on this list because we already know all about them.
